Assignment # 1 Introduction

Hi! My name is Michele and I am a 4th/5th grade teacher in Rialto. I am in my 2nd year in the Instructional Technology Masters program at CSUSB. I am excited to be in this class because I have always enjoyed having Dr. Newberry as a professor and this is one of my last classes left (woohoo!). I can't wait to get started, I'm sure this will be another great quarter.

RE: I saw that you taught at Kucera. How do you like it there. I taught there 5 years ago. I didn’t realize there was a computer application class. What does the class consist of?

I have been teaching at Kucera since March of 2005. I replaced the previous computer teacher Marilyn Cerone. She now teaches BTSA. In computer class we cover keyboarding, online research, Microsoft office, college & career exploration, and anything else related to technology. I really enjoy teaching at Kucera.

Hi Michele,
I'm the new kid on the block in ETEC 543, I just joined last week and am sprinting to catch up.
You can see my blog at http://rebecca-etec543.blogspot.com/
I just sent it to Dr. Newberry so it may not be up on the class list on Blackboard yet. Congratulations on being almost done with the Masters Program. I am in awe.. this is your last class, but it's my first...the instructional part is what I've been doing for the past umpteen years, but the technology part is all new for me. This is my first ever post on someone's blog... my first ever time having my own blog, etc. Any guidance or advice for the MA program will be much appreciated. I am really excited about participating in this great learning adventure!
